RIDGEVIEW, S.D. – The highway patrol says a 85-year-old Florida man died Monday in a single-vehicle crash near Ridgeview, South Dakota. Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2016 Tiffin Motor Homes Inc RV was traveling westbound on U.S. 212 near mile marker 173 towing a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep swayed due to slush and snow on the roadway, causing the RV to lose control. The RV entered the ditch and rolled. The passenger sustained fatal injuries. The driver was taken to an Eagle Butte hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. Names of the people involved have not been released pending notification of family members. The investigation is ongoing. Share via: Facebook Twitter LinkedIn More
