STURGIS, S.D. – Roads are getting a little dicey around the area this morning, as several accidents are now being reported, particularly in the Sturgis area on I-90.
Accidents are being reported between Blucksberg and Exit 32. That is leading to backed up and slowed traffic. There are also accidents being reported inside Sturgis city limits.
Law enforcement is encouraging motorists to please slow down this morning as roads are very slick. Visibility is also very poor due to blowing snow.
The SD511 system says roads across the Northern Hills are scattered snow to ice covered and slippery. That includes Highway 34 heading east of Sturgis and Boulder Canyon between Sturgis and Deadwood.
