(Update) I-90 Crash Temporarily Closes 190

Rapid City, SD – Commuters heading east on Interstate 90 near Rapid City are facing delays this Tuesday morning following a reported vehicle accident. Eyewitnesses indicate that both the South Dakota Highway Patrol and the Rapid City Police Department are currently on the scene, attending to the incident.

Authorities have temporarily closed the West Boulevard to 190 to facilitate cleanup and investigation efforts. The 190 onramp from the East is also closed.

The extent of any injuries sustained in the crash remains unknown at this time. Law enforcement officials are actively managing traffic flow and working to clear the scene as quickly and safely as possible.

Motorists are strongly advised to seek alternative routes and expect delays in the area. Those traveling eastbound on I-90 should be prepared for potential backups approaching the West Boulevard interchange.
