The Rocke Grace Foundation is once again stepping up to make the holidays brighter for families across the Black Hills. Their Holiday Instrument Drive is officially underway, collecting new and gently used instruments, amps, and music equipment to place in the hands of those who need them most.

The foundation, inspired by its mission to serve through music and medicine, knows how powerful a single instrument can be, especially during the holidays. “We understand how important it is to give back this time of year,” the organization shared. “We want every family to have access to making their holiday dreams and wishes come true.”

Residents who may be struggling to afford an instrument for themselves or a loved one are encouraged to reach out. The Rocke Grace Foundation is aiming to match donated equipment with families, kids, and aspiring musicians who could benefit from the gift of music this winter.

Likewise, community members with unused guitars, drum kits, keyboards, amps, or other music gear are invited to donate. Every contribution, big or small, helps. “The gift of music is so special,” the foundation added, “and we’d love for you to play a part with us in spreading it.”

Donations and requests can be made via direct message, email, or through the foundation’s website at www.therockegracefoundation.com.

The drive is supported and amplified by Miss Amelie Wilcox, Miss Rolling Plains, Miss South Dakota, and Miss America participant, who continues to advocate for accessible music education and service throughout the region.
