PIERRE, S.D. – Several area teams participated in the Pierre Invite Golf Tournament on Tuesday.
The tournament was won by Watertown, who finished with a low score of 290. Brandon Valley was second with a 292 and Mitchell was third with a 297.
For West River teams, Spearfish came in sixth with a 312, Rapid City Stevens placed seventh with a 315, Rapid City Central was ninth with a 320 and Sturgis placed eleventh with a 344.
Winning individual medalist honors was Everett Morrison of Mitchel, finishing with a 69.
Top placing West River athlete was Ian Jensen of Rapid City Central in 8th place with a 73.
Bennett Kortan of Spearfish came in 16th and Cole Jansen of Stevens placed 17th.
Top placing Scooper was Jaxon Dodson in 31st.
