PIERRE, S.D. – Area golf teams competed in Pierre Tuesday afternoon with Aberdeen Central winning the team title of the Pierre Invite.
The Golden Eagles finished with a team low 309 to take first place.
Mitchell came in second with a 315, followed by Rapid City Stevens in third with a 338. Yankton and Spearfish rounded out the top five.
Winning individual medalist honors was Olivia Braun of Aberdeen Central, finishing four-under-par with a 67.
Gabi Olson of Yankton placed second with a 74 and Kyley Wirebaugh of Aberdeen Central was third.
Top placing West River athlete was Lilian Van Der Syst of Stevens, who scored a 77 in sixth place. Alison Kennedy of Spearfish placed eighth.
