Rapid City, SD — The winds of music, art, and community are set to converge once again as the Four Winds Music & Art Festival returns to downtown Rapid City for its second year on Saturday, July 12, at Aby’s.
Established in 2015, Four Winds is more than a music festival — it’s a celebration of creative culture, diversity, and connection. With roots in Sioux Falls, Sioux City, Lincoln, and Omaha, Four Winds made its Rapid City debut in 2024 and drew nearly 1,000 attendees in its inaugural year. This summer, the festival is poised to be even bigger and better.
Attendees can expect multiple stages of live music, a vibrant vendor marketplace, and a lineup stacked with both national acts and local favorites. This year’s national headliners include Heart Attack Man, The Dirty Nil, Carpool, and Dear Seattle, along with standout performances from Dakota Faye, Diaphane, The Outside Kids, Wicked Six, Fueled by Spite, lilac jam, red maker, so called, easy light, and From This Day Forward.
The festival is the result of a dynamic partnership between Mitchell Stafford of The HomeSlice Group and Corey Church, who has successfully brought Four Winds to multiple cities across the Midwest. Their shared vision is to grow and support Rapid City’s already rich and rising music scene by creating a space where seasoned artists, fresh talent, and passionate fans come together under one creative roof.
“Four Winds is where the winds of artistic expression converge,” said Stafford. “It’s about building something that lasts — something that connects people, inspires them, and keeps our music community moving forward.”
This year’s event is proudly presented by Tires Tires Tires and The HomeSlice Group, with additional support from 605 Grit Fitness, Sturgis Brewing Company, Black Hills Auto Grooming, Oak and Iron Tattoo, Remedy 605, Lucy Veirs Prosperity Home Mortgage LLC, Hills View Homes, and the Jake Johnson Group Real Estate.
With live music and vendors running all day, Four Winds promises to be a can’t-miss event for music lovers, creatives, and festival-goers of all ages.
