Five arrested following liquor theft in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police say five people were arrested following the theft of alcohol from an E. Saint Patrick Street business.

Police say two individuals entered the establishment Friday afternoon and stole two bottles of liquor. The male and female fled the scene in a assenger vehicle that was located a short time later on E. Highway 44.

Police stopped the vehicle and detained five individuals inside, including the two individuals who stole from the liquor store.

The five were identified as 31-year-old Lewis Newholy of Box Elder, 36-year-old Tad Clark of Black Hawk, and 38-year-old Jessie Dreamer, 37-year-old Christine Bordeaux and 22-year-old Daniel Whiteeyes, all of Rapid City.

It was determined Clark and Dreamer were the two suspects who originally entered the business at 718 E. Saint Patrick Street to steal the liquor. All five occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Pennington County Jail for several charges.
