STURGIS, S.D. – Fire crews quickly responded to a fire just south of Tilford Thursday morning.
Great Plains Fire Dispatch says the Elk Creek Fire was reported around 8:00 a.m. in Meade County, about a mile south of Tilford.
State and local resources responded to the fire, which was contained and controlled at around a tenth of an acre.
The fire was listed as human caused.
