BOX ELDER, S.D. — Youth & Family Services will host its eighth annual Harvest Festival on September 6, inviting the public to its Fullerton Farm for a day of food, farming, and family fun.
The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 230 S. Ellsworth Road in Box Elder.
The festival offers a chance for community members to explore the farm’s gardens, orchard, and beehives. It aims to educate all ages on topics like food, farming, nutrition, and sustainability.
Attendees can enjoy food samples, interact with live animals, and get gardening tips. There will also be hands-on activities for guests to participate in.
Volunteers are needed to help with the festival. Those interested in assisting can contact Darcie Decker at (605) 341-7231 or by email at ddecker@youthandfamilyservices.org.
