CUSTER, S.D. – The Custer County Sheriff’s Office and Custer area fire crews were battling a structure fire Tuesday afternoon.
The sheriff’s office posted on their social media channels that the fire was located about 3 miles south of Highway 16 off Pleasant Valley Road.
They were asking residents to steer clear of the area as they were battling the fire.
In a photo that was posted, flames could be seen coming from the heavily damaged structure.
No further details had been released yet.
