Crash between car and motorcycle reported at I-90’s Exit 32

STURGIS, S.D. – A car vs motorcycle crash occurred around 2:00 o’clock this afternoon, sending Sturgis first responders to the scene.

The accident happened right in between the I-90 Exit 32 westbound off ramp and the I-90 Exit 32 on ramp.

Sturgis Police, Meade County Sheriff’s Office, Sturgis Ambulance, Sturgis Fire and South Dakota Highway Patrol were among those on scene.

Injuries were reported, but the extent of those were not available as the investigation into the crash was still ongoing.

Sturgis Police were encouraging resident to avoid the accident area Monday because of the accident. The area was going to be shut down for a couple of hours to investigate the accident.
