RAPID CITY, S.D. — Actor, musician, and philanthropist Kevin Bacon is scheduled to speak in the Black Hills as part of the John T. Vucurevich Foundation’s (JTVF) speaker series. The event, titled “An Evening with Kevin Bacon,” will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at The Monument in Rapid City.
The JTVF has been bringing acclaimed speakers to Rapid City since 1993. The foundation’s new signature for the speaker series is “Bright Note.” The event is intended to inspire audiences through thought-provoking talks.

Bacon is known for a long and varied career in film, including roles in “Footloose,” “A Few Good Men,” and “Tremors.” He is also the founder of SixDegrees.org, a social networking site with a social conscience that aims to connect people and make a positive impact.
