Rapid City, S.D. – Catalyst Theater company is set to open the second show of their season, The Language Archive, on Friday, October 10th. This is Catalyst’s third season since their initial opening in August of 2023.
Rodger Hartley, a board member of the Catalyst Theater and actor in The Language Archive, said of this season thus far: “The Language Archive is only our second show of the season, but we’re already off to a great start. We were so happy that our local audiences loved [our first show] as much as the cast and crew.”
When asked to describe The Language Archive, Hartley described it as “a funny, bittersweet
meditation on love, language, and the beautiful things that get lost in translation.”
The five-person cast consists ofJenna Green as Alta, Dave DeChristopher as Resten, Stephanie Schumacher as Mary, Rodger Hartley as George, and Leslie Hopton as Emma. The Language Archive opens Friday, October 10th and will run through Friday, November 1st.
