RAPID CITY, S.D. — Black Hills IV held its grand opening, introducing a new approach to health and wellness that focuses on prevention, recovery, and natural treatments outside of traditional medical models.

Tim Christofferson with Elevate Rapid City welcomed attendees to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, praising founder Amber — a registered nurse with two decades of experience in emergency care, intensive care, surgery, outpatient treatment, and addiction recovery — for her dedication to helping people beyond times of crisis.

“Amber has seen firsthand how much people need support in healing, prevention, and recovery,” Christofferson said. “That passion is what brought her to this moment.”

Amber, who first began offering mobile IV therapy, said the concept for Black Hills IV grew from a desire to help patients in a more proactive and holistic way.

“We started out going into homes and offices with IV therapy, seeing incredible results,” she said. “But we kept thinking, ‘There has to be more.’ That curiosity led us to more education and new modalities that enhance quality of life.”

Black Hills IV now offers a range of therapies under one roof, including IV nutrient infusions, red light therapy, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy, BrainTap for cognitive support, and Flowpresso, a lymphatic compression system designed to reduce stress and boost immunity.

Red light therapy, which resembles a tanning bed, is used for circulation, inflammation, and skin rejuvenation. It can also aid mental health, eye conditions, and promote melatonin production.

“Everything we offer is natural and rooted in cellular health,” Amber said. “When your cells are healthy, your body can do what it’s meant to do — heal itself.”

One of the standout features is the Flowpresso suit, which uses compression and aromatherapy to promote lymphatic drainage and reduce stress. Guests likened the experience to a touch-free massage.

Popular IV infusions include “The Gladiator,” which supports energy, gut health, and mood; and “Body Armor,” a high-antioxidant blend aimed at boosting immunity. IV services are available to clients aged 10 and older, with options for treating everything from migraines to autoimmune symptoms and even travel-related fatigue.

The clinic also pairs IV infusions with PEMF therapy to improve nutrient absorption and detoxification, enhancing results and helping clients recover faster.

Business hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturdays. A full list of services and informational videos can be found on the Black Hills IV website.

“Whether you’re managing chronic pain, stress, or just want to feel better day-to-day, our goal is to support your body’s natural ability to thrive,” Amber said. “We’re excited to be part of the Rapid City community and to bring something new to the table.”
