RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City will soon be home to a Barnes & Noble store.
The company says the 22,000 square foot store will be located at 1617 Eglin Street, next to Old Navy.
The building used to house Gordman’s, a clothing retailer before it closed and was split into the two storefronts that it is today. Big Lots! had announced bankruptcy and closed their Rapid City location in September of 2024.
Barnes & Noble says they are targeting July for a grand opening.
The store will carry books, toys, games, gift, and vinyl, as well as a Café.
