Brunson scores 31 as Knicks snap losing streak, hand Bulls first loss

Jalen Brunson scored 31 points as the New York Knicks snapped a three-game losing streak and handed the Chicago Bulls their first loss of the season, 128-116. Karl-Anthony Towns had 20 points and 15 rebounds while  Josh Hart had 14 points and nine rebounds for the Knicks, who scored the most points they’ve had in a game this season. Josh Giddey led Chicago with 23 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds while Nikola Vucevic had 17 points and 14 rebounds. The Bulls (5-1) were the last Eastern Conference team to fall from the unbeaten ranks and were denied their first 6-0 start since 1996-97 during the Michael Jordan era.
