Tory Burch takes her latest collection to the bank for New York Fashion Week show

Tory Burch delivered a spectacular venue, a relaxed approach to American sportswear, and a message of female empowerment in her Spring/Summer 2026 collection at New York Fashion Week. Monday’s presentation was at an old bank in Brooklyn, which looked more like a giant church than a former financial institution. Models passed bank tables as they strutted the runway in Burch’s muted tones of brown, blue, cream and gray. The most notable design was the low waists on pants and skirts. More casual looks included fitted silk knit shirts with pointed collars paired with wool pants.

Michael Kors’ style and wearability attract starry crowd at his New York Fashion Week show

Michael Kors was feeling loose as he brought his love of nature to urban New York City for a celebrity-heavy Spring/Summer 2026 show at New York Fashion Week. Kors called the collection he unveiled Thursday “earthly elegance” and says he was inspired by recent trips to tropical destinations. The clothes had an easy, loose feel, including oversized silk blouses and jackets and white linen matching sets of skirts and pants that looked like aspirational yacht-wear. Fabrics were light and often sheer, lending to comfort and wearability, and dominating colors were black, white, and brown, with accents of yellow and pink.

World-famous chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa has been tantalizing foodies for decades as he built his empire to include more than 50 upscale restaurants and several luxury hotels. The new documentary “Nobu” reveals the man behind the cuisine in an intimate look at how he found success. The film traces Matsuhisa’s journey to creating his unique fusion cuisine, blending Japanese traditional dishes with Peruvian ingredients. Now 76, Matsuhisa was driven to run his own restaurant but faced obstacles, including financial woes, doubters and a devastating fire at one of his first restaurants. “Nobu” releases widely July 2.
