RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Veterans Classic Baseball Tournament continued in Rapid City on Friday.
The Sturgis Titans were in action, playing Sheridan at Pete Lien Field. Sturgis dropped that matchup by the score of 10-2.
Rapid City Post 22 won both of their games, beating Laramie 5-0 and Pierre 3-2. The Hardhats are now a perfect 3-0 in the tournament and push their winning streak to 12 games.
The Rapid City Post 320 Stars are also on a streak after winning a pair of games Friday. Max Speed had a huge game in the Stars win over Gerring, hitting three home runs and driving in eight in Post 320’s 15-4 win. They followed that up with another victory; a 12-1 over Cody. The Stars have also won 12 in a row.
The Post 22 18U team moves to 2-0 in the tournament after winning a well-played game over Scottsbluff.
