Viral Kentucky six-piece brings genre-bending country to Rapid City on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2026.
Rapid City, SD – Central States Fair, Inc. has announced that breakout country band Ole 60 will headline a high-energy concert during the 2026 Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo® on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the Central States Fairgrounds in Rapid City, South Dakota. Rising artist Rob Langdon will open the show.
Made in Hancock County, Kentucky, Ole 60 has quickly become one of the most talked-about new names in country music. Blending indie-rock grit, folk-style storytelling, and modern country heart, the six-piece band exploded in 2024 when their single “smoke & a light” shot to the top of Spotify’s U.S. Viral 50 and their debut EP three twenty four climbed to No. 1 on Apple Music’s Country Albums chart, briefly outranking genre heavyweights like Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen.
They kept the momentum rolling with sophomore EP Songs About You and the breakout track “Thoughts of You,” which hit TikTok’s all-genre Viral 50 Music chart. Influenced by everyone from Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, and Radiohead to John Prine and Nicholas Jamerson, Ole 60 has racked up nearly 700 million global career streams while earning praise for bold arrangements, unexpected sonic twists, and lyrics that read like short stories come to life.
“Ole 60 represents exactly what we love to bring to the Black Hills Stock Show®—fresh, authentic music with a live show that hits you right in the chest,” said Jill Delay, Marketing & Vendor Manager for Central States Fair, Inc. “They’re the band your playlist is obsessed with right now, and seeing them live during BHSS is going to be a night people talk about for a long time.”
Kicking off the evening is Rob Langdon, delivering a set packed with modern country energy and crowd-pleasing originals that set the tone for Ole 60’s genre-bending headliner performance.
