RAPID CITY, SD — This afternoon friends, staff, and representatives of Aby’s Pub gathered to celebrate joining the network of businesses connected through Elevate Rapid City, a local economic development organization created in 2019. Owner Stephen Jeremy Briggs called the event “a tremendous group of people coming together to try to increase the value of community through music and art.”
Though Aby’s has been in operation for some time, Briggs said on the timing of the ribbon cutting “we finally got a pretty good thing going, we got the front in the back running smooth. We got our kitchen open– food’s good and things are going well. We’re having a lot of national touring acts, and we just joined elevate, so it was time to do a ribbon cutting”.
The pub boasts frequent community events, live music, and representatives have said they hope for this cooperation with Elevate to drive the business forward in becoming a hub for community activity.
