RAPID CITY, S.D. – Two comedy nights are scheduled this week in the Black Hills to benefit the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
The fundraiser, titled “Stand Up For Rescues,” is organized by Thrivewares and features a lineup of Denver-based comedians. Every ticket sold will help provide food, medical care and shelter for homeless pets at the nonprofit organization serving the Rapid City area and much of western South Dakota.
The shows will also include spotlights on adoptable pets and offer merchandise to further support the Humane Society of the Black Hills.
The comedy events feature Denver performers Matt Greenwaldt and Jeremy Cash, with headliner Sam Ellefson.
The first show takes place Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at Cohort Brewery, 23845 US-385, in Hill City, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The second show is Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, at Rapid City’s West River Comedy Club, 632 1/2 St. Joseph St., beginning at 7:30 p.m.
