Rapid City, SD – In an intense final matchup of this three-game series the Rapid City Rush rallied to best the Tahoe Knight Monsters 5 – 2 at the Monument Ice Arena.
The game started in favor of Tahoe. Artur Cholach (McIntyre) scored the first goal at 5:29.
Parker Bowman’s 10 minute major game misconduct and 5-minute major for boarding set Rapid City back on their heels losing one of their most physical players for the game.
Luke Adams goal at 16:28 would be the final scoring opportunity for the Knight Monsters. Tahoe lead 2-0 at the end of the 1st period.
The second period saw little action. Marcus Ekstrom’s (Hubbarde, Wood) goal at 4:33 peeped the glimmer of hope that would become the third period.
Tahoe lead 2-1 at the end of the second period.
The third period saw the Rush finding their way into the net.

Connor Murphy takes the win and Zane McIntyre for Tahoe records the loss. Shots on goal were 31 – 39. The three stars of the game were #1Ekstrom, #2 Wilkie, and #3 Ryan Wagner.
The Rapid City Rush make it out of this series against the Tahoe Knight Monsters with three points and many lessons learned.
Rapid City and Tahoe will meet again December 3rd, 5th and 6th at the Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline Nevada.
