Shawna Weishaar, age 63 of Belle Fourche, tragically died Thursday, October 23, 2025 as a result of an accident when her automobile hit a deer on a highway near Aberdeen SD.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10am Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills in Belle Fourche.
Shawna Laree Viken was born December 28, 1961 in Hettinger, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Oscar and Bonita (Christenson) Viken. On November 5, 1984, Shawna was united in marriage to Loren Weishaar in Watford City, North Dakota. Following their marriage they lived in Belle Fourche. Loren died this past August.
Shawna is survived by her sons, Loren, Justin, and Andrew, all of Belle Fourche; step-daughter, Ivory (William) Vane of Maine; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
