RAPID CITY, SD – Que Pasa Mexican Cantina and Wobbly Bobby Pub & Tap Room, two well-known downtown restaurants, have officially transitioned ownership after more than 12 years of serving the Rapid City community. The sale to another restaurant group came as a surprise to many, including the previous owners, Fat Boys Inc..
In a statement, the former owners thanked the community for its support over the past decade. They also expressed gratitude to their employees, noting that no staff members were laid off. Many of the employees will now be working at Firehouse Brewing Company.
The statement concludes by saying that while this chapter has ended for the restaurants, it is “far from the end of the story”. The former owners are eager to see what new ventures will take over the spaces.
