Rapid City is alive with flavor, sound, and celebration this weekend. From high-energy concerts to comedy and unique cultural events, there’s no shortage of things to do. Here’s your Weekend Rundown:

Friday: Flavor, Fun, and Live Entertainment

Start your Friday evening at Aqua and Acre Market at 5 p.m. with After Hours: THC & TLC. This relaxed tasting event highlights two standout brands: Aura, offering refreshing blends like Blackberry Lavender and Lemon Basil, and Looner, bringing back nostalgic soda classics like Cream and Professor Pepper. Each can is 10mg, making it the perfect chance to sip and sample without breaking the bank.

At Firehouse Wine Cellars, the fun kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with the launch of Singo Bingo. Instead of numbers, you’ll mark off songs as clips play. Round one brings 80s Hair Bands, while round two features a 90s Party Mix. With six chances to win free wine and Happy Hour from 4–6, it’s an ideal way to ease into the night.

The music continues at Aby’s with Shameless hitting the stage at 7 p.m. Known for their high-energy, unpredictable sets, they’re always a crowd favorite downtown.

If you’re craving laughs, West River Comedy Club hosts Hannah Jones at 7:30 p.m. With more than 30 million views online, Jones is known for her biting honesty and bold humor — not exactly homeschool-approved, but guaranteed hilarious. (21+)

And for late-night energy, Stereotrip takes over the patio at Murphy’s Pub at 9 p.m. With a playlist spanning the 70s through today, this show fills up fast — get there early.

Saturday: Food, Community, and Celebration

Kick off Saturday at Black Hills Harley-Davidson for the Fall Black Hills Food Truck Fest, starting at 11 a.m. Expect local food trucks, tattoo artists, and live music from Brandon Jones on the Summer Nights stage.

At 4 p.m., Dakota Point Brewing hosts a cause with a kick — the release of O’drools: Paw-tners in Pints. Proceeds benefit South Dakota Service Dogs. WingNut BBQ will be on-site, and attendees can meet handlers and their heroic pups.

For something truly unique, Pure Bean Coffeehouse transforms at 6 p.m. into a black-tie affair honoring the 100th anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera. Guests can enjoy a rare silent film screening with live piano accompaniment, elegant hors d’oeuvres, and handcrafted mocktails.

Closing out Saturday night, Camp Comfort brings local reggae-rock vibes to Murphy’s Pub at 9 p.m. for the final Summer Patio Series show. Fresh off Shang-Ri-La, the band delivers community-driven energy and good times to end the weekend on a high note.
