LEAD, S.D. – The Mile High Preview Cross Country Meet was held at Tomahawk Country Club in Lead Tuesday.
Winning the boys race was Wyatt Balliew of Douglas in a time of 13:42.74. Jayden Taken Alive of Cheyenne Eagle Butte came in second and Bernie Olsen of Douglas placed third.
Winning the girls race was Kira Ubence of Douglas in a time of 17:14.37. Her teammate Aurora Evans came in second and Newell’s Lucile Ahart finished third. Erin Harms of Douglas placed fourth.
Both Douglas girls and boys won the team titles.
