SPEARFISH, S.D. – Monument Health is furthering its support for Spearfish High School athletics with a $5,000 donation to enhance strength and conditioning programs. The contribution builds on an existing partnership that provides athletic training services and strength and conditioning coaching to students.
The donation was presented by Thomas Worsley, president of Monument Health Spearfish Hospital, and Justin Feeser, Monument Health’s manager of sports medicine and rehabilitation, to Dalton Wademan, Spearfish High School’s activities director.
This funding is intended to improve resources for all student-athletes, according to Monument Health. The organization’s commitment includes a year-round presence, with performance coach Eric Santure providing training and injury prevention guidance. This summer, over 200 student-athletes participated in the SHS Performance Camp, a program focused on improving athletic performance and reducing injury risk.
This continued support from Monument Health is part of its commitment to the Black Hills community, aiming to create lasting value for young people in the Rapid City area and across South Dakota.
