Kool Deadwood Nights hits Sturgis Wednesday

STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis’ Main Street was filled with classic cars today as Kool Deadwood Nights held their annual Sturgis show and shine Wednesday.

Sturgis Mayor Kevin Forrester says the city is excited to have all the classic cars and their owners in for the day.

As part of the Sturgis event will be an afternoon group photo and voting for the Sturgis Choice Award, which will be announced following the group photo.

This year is the 31st Anniversary of Kool Deadwood Nights, and the Sturgis event kicks off several days of activities that will occur in Deadwood through the weekend.

Outlaw Square in Deadwood will host a free concert tonight, while in Sturgis, it is Music on Main with entertainment and vendors at Rally Point.
