RAPID CITY, S.D. — On Tuesday, Aug. 19, and Wednesday, Aug. 20, students at Grandview, Horace Mann, Meadowbrook, Rapid Valley, Robbinsdale, South Canyon, Pinedale, South Park, Wilson and North elementary schools will be released at 1 p.m. Buses will run on the adjusted schedule.
District officials said the decision was made to protect students and staff as temperatures climb during the afternoon hours. Parents are encouraged to make arrangements for childcare and student pickups.
