STURGIS, S.D. – On Tuesday, Aug.19, 2025, work will begin to repair asphalt concrete, curb and gutter, subgrade, and sidewalk on Lazelle Street between Williams Street and Nellie Street in Sturgis.
Lane closures will be utilized for all repairs in the driving lanes of eastbound and westbound Lazelle Street between Williams Street and Nellie Street.
Motorists should be aware that there will be temporary closures of 1st Street and Lazelle Street with the use of flaggers when operations are in the intersection. The passing lane will be temporarily closed on eastbound Lazelle Street at certain locations with traffic diverted to the turning lane.
The project completion date is Friday, Oct. 31, 2025.
