
LEAD, S.D. – A one vehicle rollover on Highway 14A Friday resulted in just minor injuries for the four occupants of the vehicle.
The Lead Fire Department says they responded to the crash at 10:18 Friday morning at mile marker 35 where they discovered a single vehicle had left the roadway, rolled once, and landed upright on its wheels.
Fire officials say the passengers were checked for any injuries – all four being able to walk away unscathed. All four were wearing seatbelts and the vehicle’s airbags were deployed.
Traffic was safely directed around the accident using signage and Firefighters ensured the vehicle was safe from potential hazards, including electrical, stability, and fuel risks
Lead Units: Rescue 4 and Squad 7 responded to the incident.
Assisting Agencies were the Monument Health Northern Hills Ambulance, Lawrence County Sherriff’s Office, and Sunshine Towing.
