STURGIS, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Transportation recorded 59,414 vehicles entering Sturgis Wednesday, a 9.7-percent increase over the previous five-year average.
The D.O.T. is providing daily traffic counts using their counters placed at nine locations surrounding Sturgis.
The 2025 total to date is 371,178 vehicles entering Sturgis – a 10.8-percent increase over the five year average.
The biggest day so far at the Rally is Monday, August 4, when he D.O.T. recorded 68,906 vehicles entering Sturgis.
