WATERTOWN, S.D. — Harrisburg won the South Dakota Class A Legion Baseball title Saturday by defeating Yankton in the championship game 2-0.
Harrisburg Post 45, the 7-seed, scored both of its runs in the bottom of the first and twice left the bases loaded. However, the pitching duo of Kason Syverson and Eli Kokenge shut the door, holding Post 12 off the board.
Harrisburg Post 45 now heads to the Central Plains Regional, which begins Wednesday.
