RAPID CITY, SD — Meadow Ridge Pet Lodge is thrilled to announce the official groundbreaking ceremony for its brand-new, state-of-the-art upscale pet care facility, taking place Monday, July 28 at 4:00 PM in partnership with Elevate Rapid City. The celebration will be held at the future home of Meadow Ridge Pet Lodge, located at 2512 Marlin Drive, Rapid City, SD.
This exciting event marks the start of construction on what promises to be the region’s premier destination for pet boarding, grooming, training, daycare, and more. Designed with both pets and their owners in mind, the 11,000+ square foot facility 3+ acre property will feature UVC-protected, climate-controlled indoor space, as well as indoor and outdoor dog splash parks, and an indoor and outdoor pet-friendly social area that includes a 16-tap Pour My Beer system, an outdoor child play area, and a welcoming environment for pet lovers to relax and connect.
“This privately owned facility represents our deep commitment to providing the highest level of care for pets and peace of mind for their owners,” said Ashley Peterson, one of four local owners of Meadow Ridge Pet Lodge. “We are excited to create a place where pets can play, relax, and thrive—whether for a day or an extended stay.”

Construction is anticipated to be completed in late 2025 or early 2026.
