The Post 22 Hardhats 2025 had a big day on Friday, picking up two big wins against out of state teams. They beat in-state rivals Post 307 Renner Royals 9-1 and then shut out Wayzata Post #118 Wizards 11-0.

Game 1: Hardhats Take Down Renner

The Renner Royals scored first on an error in the top of the first inning, but the Hardhats bounced back right away. Wyatt Reeder hit into a double play that still scored a run, then Dexter Steen hit a two-run single, and Carter Johnson added another RBI single. Just like that, it was 4-1.

Pitcher Jadon Moreno was lights out, throwing six strong innings with six strikeouts and no earned runs.

“Beating Renner was big since they’re an in-state team and we need those points,” said Coach Kelvin Tore. “Jadon had great command and we hit the ball well. I really like how locked-in the team is right now.”

The Hardhats kept the offense rolling in the third with RBI hits from Dawson Inhofer and Aiden Roberts. They also showed good patience, drawing eight walks in the game.

Game 2: Hardhats Crush Wayzata

In game two, the Hardhats stayed hot. Wyatt Reeder had a huge game, going 3-for-4 with two singles and a triple. Aiden Roberts also came up big with a triple that scored three runs in the fifth.

The team scored seven runs in that one inning to end the game early with an 11-0 win.

Rowan Fredrickson was overall dominant on the mound, throwing a five-inning no-hitter with two walks and one strikeout. The Hardhats had 10 hits and turned two double plays to finish off the night.
