
CHADRON, Neb. – The Sturgis Post 33 Titans won two games in Chadron Friday.
Sturgis won their first game by beating Hot Springs Post 71 9-2.
The bottom of the lineup helped Sturgis in that win as Kjell Sundstrom, Carter Williams and Ethan Cermak combined for four of the team’s seven hits for the victory.
In their second game of the day, Sturgis rolled to a 13-2 win over the Security First Regulators. Brody Royer led the Titans by tripling in the third inning, scoring two, singling in the first scoring one and doubling in the second to score one.
Sturgis will play Hot Springs again on Saturday morning.
