PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden is inviting nominations for this year’s Agriculture Ambassador Award, which honors individuals or organizations dedicated to promoting agriculture. This recognition is given to those who exhibit strong leadership, integrity, hard work, humility, and respect while supporting the agricultural sector.

The Agriculture Ambassador plays a crucial role in advancing the industry by offering visionary leadership, advocating for sustainable farming practices, and driving growth. Recipients of this award contribute to the success of agriculture by championing responsible land and livestock management, emphasizing the industry’s role in the global food system, and influencing policy decisions that benefit farmers and ranchers.
