SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper Girls Softball team dropped a pair of games Saturday to Sioux Falls Jefferson and Sioux Falls Lincoln.
Sturgis fell to Lincoln by the score of 9-8.
The game went in to the seventh inning tied when Kathryn Mathison singled, scoring the winning run.
Lincoln rallied for the vistory despite trailing the Scoopers 7-3 in the third.
In the second game, Sturgis couldn’t keep up with the Cavaliers and fell to 13-3 to Sioux Falls Jefferson.
The Scoopers fall to 4-5 on the season.
