Cobbler Invite Track and Field Meet Held Tuesday

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Area track and field athletes converged at O’Harra Stadium Tuesday for the Cobbler Invite.

On the boys side, Custer’s Danny Immormino was a double-event winner, claiming the 100 meters and winning the long jump.

In the 200 meters, Maxon Speed of St Thomas More used his speed to win that event.

Rapid City Stevens athletes won the 400 and 800 meters with Blake Swanson winning the 400 and Evan Perigo winning the 800.

Cash Daigle of Sturgis won the 1,600 meters for the Scoopers. Mason Gill of Spearfish won the 3,200 meters.

In the relay races, Rapid City Christian won the 4×100 and the Medley while Rapid City Stevens finished ahead of Sturgis in the 4×200.

Scooper Aaron Morowitz was a double-event winner in the field events, winning the shot put and discus throw.

Roland Sedlacek of Custer won the javelin.

Ethan Graf of Sturgis had the highest jump in the pole vault and Alexander Stoeckman of Hill City won the triple jump.

On the women’s side, Ava Erpenbach of Stevens won the 100 meters, Kelsey Stiefel of Custer won the 200 meters, and Amara Usera captured the 400 and 800 meters for St Thomas More.

In the relay races, Rapid City Christian won the 4×100 meters and the Medley with Rapid City Central winning the 4×200.

Kayla Dilka of Rapid City Christian was a double-event winner in field events, taking both the shot put and discuss throw.

In the high jump, Lillie Ham of Hill City edged out Danica Dschaak of Sturgis for the win. Scooper Erin Shaw captured the triple jump event.
