RAPID CITY — Police were dispatched to Jackson Boulevard on Sunday following reports of a man brandishing a weapon at a group of individuals, where they were then able to locate 51 Year-Old Carl Shott, who was identified by witness description.
The Rapid City Police Department had to say on the matter that “Police obtained a good suspect description from witnesses and soon located a suspect matching that description in the area”. the suspect was searched, and “A handgun was located on his person and determined to be a pellet gun. Ultimately, Shott was placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault”.
Following this incident, Shott has been taken to Pennington County Jail.
