The Rapid City Fire Department will be conducting a prescribed burn in the Robbinsdale Park area on Tuesday, April 22nd, Wednesday, April 23rd, and Thursday, April 24th.
This controlled burn is a vital part of our fire prevention and land management efforts. It helps reduce hazardous fuels, manage vegetation, and promote a healthier ecosystem.
What to Expect:
• Visible and smell of smoke in surrounding areas.
• Fire crews and equipment on-site for safety and monitoring.
Please do not call 911 to report smoke in this area unless you see signs of an emergency outside the prescribed burn zone.
Robbinsdale Park will be closed these 3 days from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
We appreciate your cooperation and support in keeping our community safe and fire-resilient!
