DEADWOOD, S.D. – The Deadwood Fire Department says they were paged to the city’s historic Main Street Thursday night for a smell of burning wire.
Crews searched the 3-story Elks Building and the roof and buildings nearby.
Fire officials say they found nothing out of order.
Responding resources were Engine 1, Engine 2, Rescue 3 and Ladder 5. Other responding resources were Black Hills Energy and Deadwood Police Department.
