Rockerville, SD – The South Dakota Yoga Gathering (SDYG) is back for another year of movement, connection, and community, bringing together yoga enthusiasts from across the region. This year’s event, taking place June 28-29, 2025, will be hosted at two stunning locations: the Pine Haven Event Venue and, for the first time, the iconic Stratobowl, adding an unforgettable natural backdrop to this unique experience.
Founded on the belief that yoga is for everyone, SDYG offers a welcoming space for all levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. With a diverse range of classes, workshops, and wellness experiences, the gathering is designed to inspire, restore, and connect participants with themselves and each other.
“We come together each year because this gathering is more than just a yoga event – it’s a place of renewal, joy, and deep connection,” says Jillian Anawaty, one of SDYG’s co-founders. “Each year, we reimagine the gathering with love, weaving new elements into the experience while staying true to what makes it so special – community, nature, and the transformative power of yoga.”
SDYG is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all. “Whether you’re stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time or you have been practicing for years, you belong here. This is a space for everyone to move, breathe, and be supported,” says co-founder Scottie Bruch.
A particularly exciting addition to this year’s event is the inclusion of sessions at the Stratobowl, a breathtaking location known for its natural beauty and historical significance. “We are honored to bring part of the gathering to the Stratobowl this year. Practicing in such a powerful and idyllic space adds another layer of magic to this weekend,” says Cheri Isaacson, another of the event’s co-founders.
