RAPID CITY, S.D. – An Oglala woman has been sentenced to nearly six years in prison for a fatal stabbing in April of 2024.
Alexis Wounded, 26, plead guilty in December to voluntary manslaughter for the death of Roger Big Crow.
Wounded stabbed Big Crow in the back during an argument between the two. Prosecutors say Wounded was highly intoxicated when the incident happened.
Wounded was given five years and 10 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release.
