Lynn A. Goodall

Lynn A. Goodall, 72, Belle Fourche, SD passed away March 11, 2025 at Monument Health Spearfish Hospital. Funeral Services for Lynn will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 25 at Countryside Church in Spearfish, with visitation one-hour prior to services.  Interment will follow at 2:30 PM, at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or Celebrate Recovery.

     Lynn Allan Goodall was born May 6, 1952 to L. Ward and Isabell (Aldrich) Goodall in Huron, SD.  He was raised on a farm in Hand County, SD, where he attended country school and graduated from Sunshine Bible Academy near Miller.  Immediately after high school, Lynn enlisted in the US Navy and served with the Seabees. Following his discharge, he worked various jobs for several years, including as a farm hand, service mechanic for Cenex, delivery driver for Lambert lumber yard, before becoming a nursing assistant at Fort Meade where he later retired. Even in retirement he did home health around Belle Fourche.  He also would work for the Salvation Army during the Christmas season.

     He enjoyed his motorcycles, being very loyal to Honda and restoring his father’s Chevy.  He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing, mowing and especially motorcycling, enjoying the weather.  He was active in Celebrate Recovery, a large part of his life and a disciple of God, active in Countryside Church groups.

     Survivors include, his wife Lucy of Belle Fourche; children Chris Goodall and Dan “Quinn” Goodall; grandchildren, Atlas, Xandria and William; step-children, Todd Kleinpaste, Seth Kleinpaste and Gary Kleinpaste; brothers, Gary (Rita) Goodall, Lyle (Rosemary) Goodall and Glen Goodall.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward and Isabell Goodall.

     Visitation will be Tuesday, March 25, 2025, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Countryside Church, Spearfish, SD, with funeral services beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at Black Hills National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
