Delores “Dee” Cain, age 82 of Belle Fourche died Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the Hospice House in Rapid City.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30am Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the First Baptist Church in Belle Fourche. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will take place at Pine Slope Cemetery. Delores Ilene Zenor was born April 20, 1942 in Eugene, Oregon. She was the daughter of Ralph and Alice (Lawton) Zenor. For many years, Dee was a successful real estate agent in the Kennewick Washington area. Dee was also a talented artist and created several wonderful portraits of her family, as well as nature scenes. In 2013, while on a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea, Dee met Michael Cain who by God’s plan, happened to be there on the same ship. They were later married in Belle Fourche on June 10, 2014. Together they were blessed with almost 11 years of marriage.
Dee loved being a grandmother, and she was very loving and caring to her many grandchildren. She was also very blessed to have several good friends from the Tri-Cities area of Washington. Dee will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Dee is survived by her husband, Michael (and his son, Barry Cain of Gillette WY) of Belle Fourche; son, Ron (Jenn) Besser of Bend OR; daughter, Ginger Dimond of Kennewick WA; several grandchildren; and sister, Jeanne McMillan of Umatilla OR. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband; and brother, R. Douglas Zenor.
