RAPID CITY, S.D. – Canton wrapped up a dominating year in Class B wrestling by capturing the team title Saturday at the State Tournament.
Canton finished with 189 points, ahead of second place Winner, who had 140 points. The Badlands Brawlers finished in fourth with 123 points, with Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes claiming third.
Canton crowned five champions on the day with the Brawlers crowning one champion with Kale Crowsher at 175 pounds. Jace Blasius at 157 dropped his championship match to Holden Hawkins of Sisseton.
Tray Weiss of Custer won the 132 pound championship for the Wildcats.
