Shooting on East North Street sends person to the hospital

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City police are looking into another shooting which occurred late Thursday afternoon.

Police responded to the 300 block of East North Street around 4 p.m. where they found a person with a gunshot wound at the corner of East North Street and Milwaukee Street.

When they got there they were able to give aid until he was transported to the hospital.

Police say the injury is critical but non-life threatening.

Officers believe there are multiple subjects involved in the shooting.

Police say there doesn’t seem to be a relationship between the shooter and the victim.

The investigation is still ongoing.
