SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery in Spearfish.
Deputies were dispatched to the Valley Corner YesWay Convenience Store for a reported robbery at 5:30 in the morning on Wednesday.
Deputies said upon arrival the store clerk said a person entered the store and demanded money from the cash register.
Security footage shows the subject wearing a dark green jacket over a light gray hoodie, dark camouflage pants, black shoes with white around the soles and a black mask. The person was also described to be 6′2″.
The subject took a small amount of cash and left the scene on foot.
